Schneider Electric Kenya has announced the appointment of Ifeanyi Odoh as its new Country President. He will be replacing Carol Koech, the outgoing Country President.
Ifeanyi Odoh’s journey to Schneider Electric Kenya is marked by a diverse and illustrious career. He previously served as the Strategy and Transformation Leader for South East Asia, overseeing operations in Vietnam and Cambodia. His role involved spearheading strategic initiatives and driving transformational change within the organization.
Prior to his tenure in South East Asia, Ifeanyi Odoh held key positions within Schneider Electric, including Head of Offer Marketing & Business Development in Anglophone West Africa.
In this role, he played a pivotal role in developing and implementing go-to-market strategies for Schneider Electric’s products, software, and services in the region.
Ifeanyi Odoh’s professional journey began in France, where he started as a Research Engineer in the Strategy and Innovation department at Schneider Electric.
His early experiences laid the foundation for his subsequent career growth and leadership roles within the company.
In addition to his corporate achievements, Ifeanyi Odoh has also been recognized for his contributions to academia and research.
He has been involved in various research projects focusing on geological and geochemical studies, earning grants and awards for his work in Nigeria.
Odoh was also appointed Secretary to Ebonyi State Government between May 2015 and April 2018. This experience in government administration further honed his leadership and organizational skills, which he now brings to his new role as Country President.
The appointment of Ifeanyi Odoh as the new Country President of Schneider Electric Kenya has been met with enthusiasm from the company’s leadership.

Carol Koech, the outgoing Country President, will be taking on a new role, leading Sustainability Strategy for Schneider Electric in International Operations.

Carol’s contributions to Schneider Electric Kenya over the past three years have been acknowledged and appreciated by the company’s leadership.
“During her tenure as the Country President, we made significant strides in streamlining operational excellence, and Carol’s steadfast leadership has been crucial to strengthening our foundation and positioning the company for our next growth phase,” Devan Pillay stated..
In his statement regarding his appointment, Ifeanyi Odoh expressed his excitement about leading Schneider Electric Kenya.
